Some tips
- Rubber boots or waterproof shoes are strongly recommended to enter the Zwin Plain.
- Be on time:
- 1 person in charge of the group will be at the reception desk to sign in the group.
- Appointment 15 min before the start of the walk at the stork posts in front of the park entrance. - There are restrooms in the Nature Education Center - the building before the entrance to the visitor center itself.
- You can leave belongings in the lockers in the Nature Education Center or on level -1 of the main building.

What is the difference between a walk in the Zwin Plain and on the Zwindike?
During a walk in the Zwin Plain, you walk through the tidal area itself, while on a walk on the Zwindike, you walk on an elevated dike with views of the Zwin Plain and the Zwin expansion.
How long does a private walk last and what is included?
A private walk lasts 2.5 hours. Before or after your walk, you have access to the Zwin Nature Park with your whole group. This means you can visit the cabin trail, panorama tower and exhibitions at your own pace.
When can I book a private walk?
You can book a private walk during the park's opening hours. It’s best to do this two weeks in advance to ensure we can reserve a guide for your group. During the summer months, you can start a walk no later than 4 PM, while in the winter months, the last start time is 3 PM.
