Bird ringing is included in a standard access ticket to the Zwin Nature Park.
During our bird ringing demonstrations, a ringer expertly explains why the bird is being ringed. It is a unique opportunity to learn a lot about the life of birds and to see them close up.
!The ringing of the birds depends greatly on the weather. It is possible that ringing might not be possible on some days!
Ringing dates
Ringing will take place in the ringing hut/story hut in the cabin trail, always from 10:00 to 12:00 hrs.
Depending on the type of weather, the ringing may end earlier than 12:00 hrs, so make sure to get there on time if you want to see everything!
- During the Easter vacations: from April 5 through April 20, 2025
- During summer vacation from August 1 through August 31, 2025
- In the fall every opening day from September 1 through November 11, 2025 (please refer to the opening calendar)

Practical
