During the spring break Zwin guides are stationed at various spots in the park and will be happy to supply you with extra information on the fauna and flora of the Zwin area!
Fresh water lab
At the freshwater lab, you can take a very close look at tiny creatures.
You’ll be amazed at what these organisms look like under a microscope!
From 10:30 to 16:00
Birds on the breeding islands
Is that a Mediterranean gull, a black-headed gull, or a little tern? The Zwin guide will help you identify the birds you see with a telescope!
From 11:00 to 16:30
A walk on the Zwin Plain
Follow the blue or green itineraries on the Zwin Plain. A Zwin guide will be there at the beginning of your walk and tell you more about this unique tidal area.

A unique saltwater lab
Do you know why the birds love the tidal area so much? For its extensive menu, of course!
Shrimps, crabs, worms, mussels... all kinds of goodies birds simply can't get enough of and that you can see up close at the saltwater lab.
The saltwater lab is open on Thursday, Saturday and Sunday from 12:30 to 17:00
Children's egg hunt
We found a lonely egg in the Zwin without its mama... Who, oh who, could be its mama?

Visit the storks
Ever seen a stork close up on its nest? No? In that case, don't forget to visit the stork tower to watch these wonderful birds!

Photo exhibition GEOWONDER
Admire the winning images of the GEOWONDER photography competition from March 1st to June 1st in the exhibition hall of Zwin Nature Park.
The jury selected the most beautiful photos from over 400 entries, showcasing the different regions of the Scheldt Delta Geopark.
The exhibition is included in a standard ticket.
